A Study Day to accompany the exhibition Ten Drawings By Leonardo da Vinci: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration. An opportunity to learn more about the wider context of Leonardo's drawings from four leading specialists, and a panel discussion.
The speakers will explore Leonardo's anatomical studies, his difficult relationships with his patrons, his artistic innovations, and the restoration of the famous Leonardo cartoon at the National Gallery following its damage in a shotgun attack in 1987. The day will close with a panel discussion and opportunities for questions.
