As an Irish Italian Englishman, Ian believes he has the right to have a go at anyone and anything. Hiding behind the stage name is a thinking man who takes his privileges seriously. According to Cog, comedy isn’t the new rock and roll, it’s the new democracy where there’s always room for a crass nob gag. Without the help of television, Ian is still standing, albeit sometimes against a bar stool. His motto of “Playus ego sum me haberbimus” (I’ll play to anyone who’ll have me) has made Ian a favourite with everyone, from the filthy of Glastonbury to the freshly scrubbed of Edinburgh.
