There’s just one boy, Kyle - the school loner, who takes an interest in science and shares David’s thirst for knowledge. But when Kyle is picked on by his troublemaking class mates, Reece and Chantay, all of David’s good work starts to unravel. Their disruptive behavior is a catalyst for colliding personalities, resulting in an explosive reaction.

A contemporary and dynamic new play about provocation, Gravity is a fictional story with roots in the real-life newspaper headlines of today’s society.

It belonged to her dad but she secretly plucked away at it until the strings broke. She didn’t own up. But by then she had fallen head over heels in love with the instrument and her dad knew it. So he bought her a guitar of her own and Charlene spent hours teaching herself to play and honing her innate talent.

Timothy McKenzie, better known by his stage name Labrinth, is an English singer-songwriter and record producer. McKenzie is signed to Simon Cowell's record label Syco, becoming the first non-talent show signing in six years. Initially, he was tipped to work as a producer, but Cowell signed him as a solo act.

Labrinth made his debut appearance on the UK chart in March 2010, when his collaboration with Tinie Tempah, "Pass Out" reached number-one. This was preceded by the number-two single "Frisky", another collaboration with Tempah. His first solo single, entitled "Let the Sun Shine" was released in September 2010 and reached number-three.

In their quest to rescue her they run into Big Boris and the Bolshies, Slimebag and the Slimeys, and, through a space warp back to the 60s, Sue Zuki and the Greasers.

An authentic bluesman making a welcome return to The Crossroads!

Crossroads Blues Club puts on Blues open mic sessions, guest artistes and Blues jams on Thursday nights at the Tower of Song venue in Cotteridge, Birmingham. Evenings usually kick off with a blues open mic session - all abilities and styles welcome.

The Tower of Song is an acoustic venue but there is a good house PA and electric guitars are welcome as long as you don't view making people's ears bleed as a musical achievement. You don't have to book an open mic spot in advance but it helps us plan the evening and gives you a better chance of getting a spot if you do.
