Romance Is Dying: Matinee
Source http://www.oldjointstocktheatre.co.uk/rte.asp?id=267
"Romance is Dying" is a new farce in the rich tradition of Benny Hill, the Carry On films and Sir Brian Rix's "Whitehall Farces". It is Roger Camden's first play, which grew from a series of comedy sketches, and if you've ever had to spend time in a GP's waiting room you will almost certainly identify, or even identify with, many of the characters in Romance is Dying: from the sexy young nurse who confuses all around her to the opportunistic Mr Rich, the undertaker, to confused Mr Harris whose dementia only allows him to remember sex during his lucid moments...!
