The Songs and Music of Bagpuss

Since ‘Bagpuss’ was voted ‘Best Children’s TV Programme Ever Made’ in a nation-wide BBC poll in 1999, this much-loved series, with it’s friendly, eccentric characters, it’s theme of re-use and re-cycle, and the catchy, folk-style music, has had a new lease of life.

The ‘thirty-somethings’ who knew the films from the 70’s are enjoying the nostalgia of re-visiting their childhood , and of introducing their own children to the stories - which appear to have as much appeal now as they ever did.
