Shake the Dust

Shake the Dust is an exciting and inclusive national youth slam taking place in spring and summer 2012 that will bring together young people, teachers, youth workers and spoken word artists to coincide with the London 2012 Olympics. The Drum is looking for five schools or youth groups to take part. We’ll be hosting a free teacher training session on 6th Dec led by Jacob Sam-La Rose aimed specifically at teachers and youth workers who are keen to increase their creativity and develop their skills in supporting young people’s learning through poetry.
