Do you enjoy writing poetry, prose, plays, film scripts, short stories or even a novel? West Bromwich Writers Group covers all aspects of Creative Writing. We have been running for the past six years at West Bromwich Central Library and moved to The Public early this year. West Bromwich Writers group is an informal group and is free to join. We meet on the first Friday of every month from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

The aim of the Writers Group is to support local creative writers in and around Sandwell. All aspects of creative writing are represented, for example, poems; short stories; stage plays; screenplays; novels and autobiography. All writers are welcome to contribute to the Group by sharing their work. No experience is necessary. Writing is encouraged through suggested projects and exercises. Group members are encouraged to share their work with other members, who may offer constructive criticism. Occasionally there may be guest speakers.
