Deadpan comedian Mike Gunn has put the fun back into funeral! His history is as interesting and entertaining as his comedy. Dressed as ‘The Funeral Director’ he delivers dark disturbing laconic one liners in a dead-pan style with a wry grin never too far away.

If stand-up is dead the Mike Gunn is the future of comedy.

In 1996 Mike was supporting the likes of Jo Brand and Alan Davies. Last year he headlined at all the top comedy venues in the UK and is rapidly reaching cult status on the circuit. TV appearances include BBC’s The Stand Up Show, C5’s The Comedy Store and Live at Jongleurs . In 1998 Mike made his debut at the Edinburgh festival where his show Good Grief received rave reviews and played to sell out crowds.

Mike will undertake to provoke mirth on earth and laughter in the hereafter but always with the utmost dignity and respect. Dark, but not tasteless, Mike knows that death is only funny when it happens to somebody else.
