Trio VD

We’ve got a real treat for our second Jazz Club instalment of 2010. Exploding out of the Leeds jazz scene Christophe de Bezenac on sax, Chris Sharkey on guitar and Chris Bussey on drums make up Trio VD. The three Chris’ come together to make an incredible sound. Sharkey and Bussey are a fierce rhythm section and their tight, heavy riffs are perfectly complimented by de Bezenac’s sax playing which is both melodic and textural. A seriously forward-thinking band with performances at Cheltenham and London jazz festivals already in the bag, this in one gig you don’t want to miss.
