Hallo Jerusalem
Fri 10 Jul at 7.30PMHallo Jerusalem
The Midlands Palestinian Community Association (UK) is organising a night of celebration in Partnership with the Drum, the National Centre for Black British Arts and Culture from 7:30pm on the 10th of July in Birmingham.
This evening of cultural solidarity with the future Capital of Palestine will feature musicians and writers from Birmingham including Ben Okafor, reggae band Rockstone and Y2K, sufi rock band Silk Road and Blues guitarist Joe Beale, Kokumo and the multicultural voices of Writers Without Borders. The evening will also feature Alzaytouna Nottingham Dabka Group.
We hope to raise funds to support a Palestinian charity or organisation that works to maintain and enrich the Palestinian Arab identity of Jerusalem. This should be a truly memorable night.
Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment, especially if you are travelling from outside Birmingham either online at www.the-drum.org.uk or by telephone on 0121 333 2444. The tickets are £9 if you are in work or £6 if you are not.
