'The layout and archaeology of the Soho Manufactory and Mint' A talk by George Demidowicz, Head of Conservation and Archaeology, Coventry City Council 1pm in the AV room (to the back of the Gas Hall) George Deomidowicz reconstructs the appearance of the Soho Manufactory and Mint from the Boulton and Watt archives, chronicling their development from their beginning to their eventual demolition. The results of documentary work were tested by archaeological investigation in 1996, when Channel 4's Time Team carried out their first industrial archaeological dig.
