Taking Off-Poetry Workshop with Roz Goddard

This poetry workshop for adults will look at the variety of ways one can begin a poem – from lifting lines from newspapers and published poems to being stimulated by the subtlety of colour in a piece of art. There will be a wide choice of stimulus available to get you writing whether a beginner or more advanced writer you can share work and get feedback.

Roz Goddard is an experienced writing facilitator, teaching at Birmingham University and elsewhere and is a former Poet Laureate of Birmingham. Her first full collection, How to Dismantle Hotel Room was published in 2006.
