The Heath Quartet was formed in 2002 at the Royal Northern College of Music, under the guidance of Christopher Rowland. Over the last year they have studied with Alasdair Tait in Madrid and taken up an appointment as Junior Fellows at the RNCM. They gave their Purcell Room début in 2005 and were subsequently made a laureate of the Geneva International String Quartet Competition.
