La Boheme - Ellen Kent Opera International
Ellen Kent & Amphitheatre Productions present a spectacular new autumn tour, bringing a touch of Arena Di Verona to Birmingham following their premiere performance in Leeds Castle, Kent in August.
This magnificent production will be performed by a large company with a live orchestra in an amphitheatre setting.
La Boheme will be set within the amphitheatre structure which will be intriguingly converted into the attics and back streets of Bohemian Paris. The poignancy of this tragic opera will be set against the stunning backdrops inspired by Chagall, Renoir and the Impressionists and Act 2 will even boast snow! This beautiful production will feature authentic costumes of the period.
With the most romantic music Puccini ever wrote, La Boheme will include the famous aria Your Tiny Hand is Frozen.
Not to be missed!
This production will be performed by handpicked international soloists alongside the full Chisinau National Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
Sung in Italian with English subtitles
Tickets: £7.00 - £40.50
