Terry Early's announced marriage to Susan rouses the fury of his formidable mother, Alic, on account of a previous relationship between herself and Ruben, Susan's father. Sam Early is caught up int he middle of this and fears they will never know peace of mind again.
The sudden demise of Alice seems to offer a peaceful solution but is her vengeful ghost even more formidable than she was as a living wife and mother!
