George Humphreys is the winner of the 2008 Sir Anthony Lewis Memorial Prize, named after a distinguished Music Professor at this university and subsequently Principal of the Royal Academy of Music. Timothy End won the Accompanist’s Award in the same competition. George is in his second year on the Royal Academy of Music’s postgraduate Opera course and is supported by the Josephine Baker Trust.
