South Wales' Kids In Glass Houses are a breath of fresh air on the post-hardcore scene. not concerned with the current zeitgeist or the colour of their nail varnish, the valley boys have instead concentrated on simply writing catchy tunes and their four-track debut is wonderful because of it. if MCR-style bluster is your thing you'd best look elsewhere, but if you're not afraid of 'proper' songs with big, poppy choruses then KIGH are a delight. the instantly catchy memorable 'give me what i want' chorus to me me me and the 'doo doo doo' refrain to easy tiger highlight how insanely catchy these boys can be; a real case of one listen and it's in your head all day. it's like summer's still here
