Mark Knopfler

World-famous legendary guitarist Mark Knopfler returns to the UK next year for a concert at Birmingham’s NEC Arena on Friday 16 May 2008.

A multi GRAMMY award winner as the lead singer/songwriter for Dire Straits, Mark Knopfler combined his wry lyrics with his guitar prowess to create such major hits as Money For Nothing, Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet and Walk of Life. He has produced records for Bob Dylan and Randy Newman as well as scoring several films including Local Hero and Princess Bride.

Kill To Get Crimson is Knopfler’s fifth solo, non-soundtrack release and arrives on the heels of his delightful collaboration with Emmylou Harris, All The Roadrunning.
