Highbrow hip hop for those put off by gunshots and shouting From Halifax, Nova Scotia to London via Paris, mixing old-wives' tales and real/imagined experiences with freight car hobos, weird Middle America and lone road soldiers on soul-searching experiences. Yeah, this is the Jack Kerouac of hip-hop; a Bboy version of Tom Waits and the folk/country influences are there more than ever. Complex loops of acoustic guitar, banjo, strings, mingled with deep-set scratches and synthetic tones resulting in simplistic homemade sinister sounds. Gothic urban, maybe? Recommended!
