Sequel to Soul in a Suitcase, drawing upon themes from The Hero's Journey by Joseph Campbell and The Divine Comedy by Dante. The Clown who grew up and found her Angel wings learns to fly a little higher...even though she falls sometimes. She reaches for the moon, lands midst the stars but every now and then comes back down to earth with a bump.
On the one hand a journey through life and love from the heart embracing pleasure and pain, on the other, a piece of visual comedy that is audacious, poetic and painfully funny combining clown play, aerial work and original music. Jane Sutcliffe has collaborated with a particularly exciting team on this new show, including director John Wright, author of Why is that so Funny?, Mike Wright of Circomedia, Bristol and musician Pete Williams, formerly of Dexy's Midnight Runners.
After show discussion hosted by Viv Astling.
