Progressive Politics: Labour, Brexit and Internationalism FREE

Source http://bit.ly/2Dt09np

The Brexit debate is hardening, and moving into a critical phase. The Tories seem now to be charting a course towards the hardest of Brexits, while Labour cautiously moves towards a commitment to maintaining a customs union relationship with the EU. We are almost certainly heading for a ferocious debate and critical vote in Parliament. Many commentators remain convinced that there is no majority in the Commons for a Hard Brexit. Some even argue that there is a real possibility that Brexit might be derailed in a Parliamentary vote - setting the scene for a General Election that would be fought on very different visions of Britain’s role in the world.

So, how should progressive thinkers respond to current directions of travel?
